MATAX provides accounting, bookkeeping, tax preparation, financial reporting, business advisory, and NDIS plan management services. Our services are provided under a separate written engagement agreement with each client. Nothing on this website constitutes an offer to provide services. It is for general informational purposes only. Service terms, fees, and scope are agreed in writing prior to commencement of any engagement.

MATAX is a registered NDIS Plan Manager. Our plan management services are governed by the NDIS Act 2013, the NDIS (Transitional and Consequential Provisions) Act 2016, and the NDIS Practice Standards. By engaging MATAX as your Plan Manager, you authorise us to: • Receive and process invoices from your NDIS service providers • Lodge claims with the NDIS portal on your behalf • Track and report on your plan budgets Participants retain full choice and control over their service providers and supports. MATAX does not direct or limit how you use your NDIS funding.

Fees for professional services are set out in your engagement letter or service agreement. NDIS plan management is funded directly from your NDIS plan at the NDIS-set rate. There is no out-of-pocket cost to participants. For other services, invoices are payable within the timeframe stated on the invoice. We reserve the right to charge interest on overdue amounts in accordance with the engagement agreement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MATAX and its staff, contractors, and agents are not liable for: • Any loss or damage arising from reliance on general information on this website • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from the use of our services • Errors or omissions in information provided by you that affect the accuracy of work we complete Our liability for services provided is limited to the fees paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.

You agree to: • Provide accurate, complete, and timely information required for us to deliver our services • Notify us promptly of any changes to your circumstances that may affect your tax or financial position • Review and approve all documents and returns before lodgement You remain responsible for the accuracy of information you provide. MATAX is not liable for outcomes resulting from incorrect or incomplete information supplied by you.
